Arthur EdwardWILDThe family of Arthur Edward Wild, formerly of Rhuddlan, Denbighshire, would like to express our deepest appreciation for everyone's sympathy as we mourned his loss. The shared memories from all of you at the funeral, along with the many phone calls, cards and words of condolence meant a great deal to us, and leaves us in no doubt of the high regard in which he is held. We would especially like to thank Morris Funeral Directors, Steven Hughes, Carol Ridgway and Dave Lee for their professional and caring arrangements throughout. Reverend Chris Spencer, St. Thomas's Church and St. Asaph Crematorium for their solemnity in honouring Arthur's life. Deepest thanks also to Caradoc Lodge, John Cooke and Antony Steele for helping with arrangements, Walter Howie for the eulogy and to the pall bearers. Freemasonry was a huge part of dad's life and the contribution made by lodge members to the service was very much appreciated. Also many thanks go to the quintet from Rhyl Silver Band who played at St. Thomas's. Dad played the euphonium for The Royal Welch Fusiliers Band and Rhyl Silver Band, and to be able to include brass in the service was particularly significant. We would also like to thank Elwy Hall, especially Emma, for hosting the wake so attentively and to Ian Robertson for the sustenance provided by his catering. Greville would particularly like to thank Gareth Barker for going above and beyond, and to Adam Fielding and Steven and Miranda Cookson for their unstinting kindness and friendship. Also to my aunt, Marlene Fox, for providing great comfort from afar. Lastly, but by no means least, thank you to all those who attended the service, braving the atrocious conditions visited upon us by Storm Eunice. Your presence was very much appreciated.
